Hi good afternoon. I would like to post on shapes of molecules according to Valence Shell electron pairs Repulsion Theory. This Theory is know as VSEPR . We know shapes of molecules with the help of this Theory. The shape of a molecule depends upon the number of Valence Shell electron pairs (bonded or non- bonded) around the central atom. To know shapes of molecules, we have to know no of bond pairs, no of Lone pairs and valency electrons. We can find no of bond pairs from given molecule. We can calculate Valence electrons by locating central atom. From this central atom we can find Valence electrons. We can find Lone pairs from given formula. Lone pairs = Valence electrons- Bond pairs/2

"Sun Shakti " webinar on solar Energy
Dear students, teachers, mentors, change makers and friends. I have taken my own responsibility to mentor and motivate school children above 13 years along with "The Energy Literacy Drive " a concept from " The Energy Swaraj Foundation " conceive by Shri Dr. C.S. Solanki ( Solar man of India who works as professor at Department of Energy Sciences IIT Bombay) . My "Sun sakthi " solar session will teach children about different energy sources and all the components of a solar power system using power point presentations. In the session, we will be demonstrating a micro solar power plant and how to make a solar power lamp in just 5 minutes. I request all schools to communicate with their students and make use of this practical session towards becoming a solar soldiers of the nation. Let's work together to inform more people about the impacts of power on the environment and help change India to solar India. Why pollution? Let's work with a solution! Together we can make a change. This program is conducted by Srinivas SG, , the founder of Scientificstudents.com and Mentor of Change.
